We find Gina four years later in 1920 at the same restaurant and now working as a waitress. ![]() After moving into a small apartment in Jacksonville Florida and finding her daughter a dishwashing job the mother eventually abandons her thirteen year old daughter. Her father died when she was a little girl and it seems her mother never really felt very affectionate towards her daughter. It’s about a young woman named Gina that has been alone for much of her young life. It didn’t really achieve much success but it did give me the confidence to move forward with the fiction books I’d been putting together in my mind over the years. Then in 2003 I finally wrote a “how to” book. I wrote some lyrics for bands I played with and this moved me in the direction of writing on a professional level. I’ve always been interested in writing I suppose. I can imagine that more than one author will be able to identify with Oliver’s writing schedule! I’m pleased to present this interview with Oliver Phipps, author of “A Tempest Soul”. ![]()
